The App is an English learning app that extracts English words and sentences from images and photos and uses AI to generate meanings and example sentences. Key features include:

• Extraction of English words and sentences from camera or photos (OCR)
• Automatic generation of meanings and example sentences using AI
• Card-based vocabulary and sentence learning
• Progress tracking with a learning calendar
• Favorites and review features

2. Usage Conditions

2.1 System Requirements

2.2 Permissions

The following permissions are required to use the App's features.

Minors must obtain parental consent before using the App.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights related to the App (software, design, logos, etc.) belong to the developer.

3.2 Prohibited Activities

Users must not use the App to:

4. Advertising

The App displays advertisements using Google AdMob.

• Ad content is managed by Google, and the developer is not responsible for its content.

5. Disclaimers

5.1 Service Provision

• The App is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties.
• We do not guarantee that the App will operate without interruption or errors.
• The developer may update or change features without prior notice.

5.2 Data Integrity

• Vocabulary data and learning history created in the App are stored locally on your device.
• The developer is not responsible for data loss due to device failure, OS updates, or App deletion.
• Users should maintain appropriate backups of important data.

5.3 Third-Party Services

• The App uses Google's Gemini API, Firebase Analytics, AdMob, and RevenueCat.
• The developer is not responsible for any impact on the App's functionality due to outages, changes, or discontinuation of these third-party services.

5.4 Accuracy of AI-Generated Content

• The developer makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of meanings and example sentences generated by the Gemini API.
• Users assume full responsibility for their use of and reliance on generated content.

5.5 Force Majeure

The developer shall not be liable for any delay or inability to provide services resulting from causes beyond the developer's reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, war, government actions, communication failures, internet disruptions, or third-party service outages.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or your actions.

8. Internet Connection

The App requires an internet connection for many features, including word recognition from images and AI-powered generation of meanings and example sentences. Data charges are the responsibility of the user, and some features may not be available depending on the network environment.

9. Changes to Terms

The developer may modify these Terms as needed. If significant changes are made, we will notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the developer's location as the court of first instance.

Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of the right to enforce such provision.
